Cyril Sabbagh is an experienced investment management professional who has played a pivotal role in developing the ETF business at Melanion Capital since joining the company in 2019. His career began in 2001 at Oddo Options, where he served as Head of Equity Options Market Making. He later took on a similar role at Exane Derivatives, further honing his expertise in options trading. In 2009, Cyril founded Mosaic Finance, an independent investment firm specializing in options trading, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and deep knowledge of the financial markets.
Leadership and Strategic Roles
After gaining significant experience in options trading, Cyril Sabbagh transitioned into strategy consulting for a year before joining Skylar France in 2014 as Managing Director. At Skylar France, he initially focused on optimizing the use of listed derivatives in the company’s funds. Over time, his role expanded to include enhancing the overall investment process in Asset and Wealth Management, showcasing his strategic leadership abilities.

Cyril Sabbagh’s strong academic background has been fundamental to his career success. He is a graduate of ENSAE and a fellow actuary, holding two master’s degrees from Paris VI. One of these degrees is in Probabilities and Finance, and the other is in Game Theory and Modelization in Economy. This solid educational foundation has equipped him with the analytical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to excel in the complex world of finance and investment management.
